babisabl, the castle in the Loch Lomond post is from Balloch just north of Glasgow, Scotland. It was a rather strange and ugly castle actually, but I've managed to find a viewpoint were it did look quite interesting after all.
Or, if you mean the great castle on top of the hill, that's in Edinburgh. A quite nice town which I visited for the first time this weekend.
